Application: Dice the onion into little pieces and squeeze all of the juice out of it. Apply in on your scalp and leave it there for 15 minutes. Rinse it out with a mild shampoo afterwards. Now for the garlic, crush a few cloves and add a few drops of coconut oil and let it boil for a few minutes. Let cool afterwards. Once the mixture is cool to touch, massage in onto your scalp. This remedy sees best results when done twice or thrice a week.
Coconut – You can’t go wrong with coconut for hair care. There are lots of nutrients in it which condition and promote the growth of hair. The proteins, essential fats, potassium, and iron found in coconut milk help strengthen hair. It doesn’t stop there, coconut oil also has the ability to strengthen hair from root to tip as well. That’s why some shampoos and conditioners contain coconut oil.
Application: First grate the coconut then squeeze out the milk, mix a little water if it seems tough. Now apply the milk to the area which is experiencing thinning or balding. Leave this on overnight and wash off with water the following morning.
Hibiscus – The people from Kerala, India believe in the secret of hibiscus and coconut oil for having think hair, and it is evident that it works. Hibiscus, can nourish hair, stop premature graying in its tracks, and is also a cure for pesky dandruff. It can rejuvenate hair and prevent hair loss as well.
Application: Gather a few hibiscus flowers and crush them. Mix them with sesame oil or coconut oil (for better results). Mix well until this forms a fine paste. Apply this on your hair an scalp and leave the paste on for a couple of hours. Rinse with a mild shampoo and some cold water.
Amla – load with antioxidants an vitamin C, this is a good choice for battling hair loss. This strengthens hair follicles while conditioning the hair.
Application: Either buy the fruit and extract the juice out of it, or go to any herbal store and buy some amla powder. Mix equal parts of either amla juice or amla powder with two teaspoons of fresh lime juice. Mix properly and apply generously to scalp. Once dry, rinse out using warm water.
Egg– Here is another source of sulfur. Eggs also have selenium, phosphorus, zinc, iron, and iodine which are excellent hair regrowth stimulants. This works even better when combine with olive oil.
Application: Take an egg white and mix it with a teaspoon of olive oil. Keep on mixing it until it forms into a paste. This paste is then applied onto your entire scalp and hair. Leave it on for about 15-20 minutes then wash it off with a mil shampoo and cold water.
